Day of Love

Forgive the terrible phone photo, but I stitched up this custom Wilbur eBook Cover up last night... and, well let's just say that if I didn't have one of the huge old Kindles, this one might not have made it out the door!  I love the fabric (we have it in the shop on these Pippa Pillow Covers), which was a great find by Morgan!  We don't usually stitch these covers up in the heavier-weight home decor fabric, but this one worked out great.  I am head over heels for the antique gold button and elastic closure.  I think this puppy might find herself in the shop soon!  (And as soon as we get a break in orders, Kinsey the Kindle will have a new outfit to wear!)

Do y'all have any big Valentine's plans?  I'm pretty excited to hang out with my hubby tonight.  (I promised him I wouldn't stitch... but I'm totally going to cheat and cut out some Maddie Make-Up Pouches.)  I'm throwing him a Zombie-themed Valentine's dinner, complete with Walking Dead Tacos with Ground Brains (aka Walking Tacos), Bloody Temples (aka Shirley Temples), Gut Juice (rum punch with extra grenadine), Baby Hearts (SweeTart hearts) and the new episode of The Walking Dead.  I hope he gets a kick out of it. :)
